Land & Property Book 0 p. 86, 87, & 88 John Crittendon & others to William Crittendon--deed Georgia Recorded 24 November 1807 This indenture made the sixteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty six and the tenth year of the independence of the United States of America between John Crittendon, Thomas Crittendon, Jonathan Crittendon, Isaac Skinner and Jane his wife, Eleanor Anderson, Edward Williams and Margaret his wife and Francis Crittendon of the state of Georgia of the one part and William Crittendon of the county of Richmond and said state of the other part. Whereas the said John Crittendon, Thomas Crittendon, Jonathan Crittendon, Isaac Skinner and Jane his wife, Eleanor Anderson, Edward Williams and Margaret his wife and Frances Crittendon have an equal share and interest in a tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres situate lying and being in the County of Richmond in the State of Georgia bounded at the time of the original survey thereof northwardly by lands of William Salters___, southwardly by lands of Charles Anderson and on other sides by vacant land. Now this indenture witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of five pounds __(may say sterling) to each of them ___. John Crittendon, Thomas Crittendon, Jonathan Crittendon, Isaac Skinner, Eleanor Anderson, Edward Williams and Frances Crittendon by the said William Crittendon in hand well and truly paid at and before the sealing and delivery of those present the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said William Crittendon his heirs and assigns all the estate right, title interest and property claims and demand of them the said John Crittendon, Thomas Crittendon, Jonathan Crittendon, Isaac Skinner and Jane his wife, Eleanor Anderson, Edward Williams and Frances Crittendon of in and to all that the aforesaid tract or parcel of land belonging or in anywise appertaining together with all and singular the homes out houses buildings improvements trees woods underwood ways ___ passages privileges advantages ___ herediments and appurtenances whatsoever on which have been known ___ held or enjoyed as part parcel or member thereof and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents issues and profits thereof and also all ___ ___ and writings relating to the aforesaid tract of land heridiments and premises hereby bargained and sold meant or intended to have and to hold the said tract of land and premises herein before mentioned or intended to be hereby bargained and sold with all the rights members and appurtenances to the only proper use and behoof of the said William Crittendon his heirs and assigns forever and the said John Crittendon, Thomas Crittendon, Jonathan Crittendon, Isaac Skinner and Jane his wife, Eleanor Anderson, Edward Williams and Margaret his wife and Frances Crittendon his heirs and assigns that they have good right full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the hereby granted bargained conveyed premises unto the said William Crittendon his heirs and assigns forever and lastly that they the said John Crittendon, Thomas Crittendon, Jonathan Crittendon, Isaac Skinner and Jane his wife, Eleanor Anderson, Edward Williams and Margaret his wife and Frances Crittendon the said tract or parcel of land and all and singular other ___ hereby bargained or meant or intended to be and any part and parcel thereof with the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said William Crittendon his heirs and assigns against them the said John Crittendon, Thomas Crittendon, Jonathan Crittendon, Isaac Skinner and Jane his wife, Eleanor Anderson, Edward Williams and Margaret his wife and Frances Crittendon and all and every person and persons whatsoever claiming or pretending claim by from or under any person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these present. In witness whereof the parties to these present have interchangeably set there hand and seals the day and year first above written.
