He was justice in Calvert County from 1700 to circa 1712/13. E94.0508.03 SKU 11(3):58 Prince George Co Gen Soc Bulletin 24(6):120-122. Feb 1993: Page 256: Robert SKINNER (2nd, the testatorıs father) appears as a witness in Calvert Co. 1692; Charles Co. 1697; Calvert Co. 1701, 1702, 1711 [MCW 2:64, 162, 228, 243; 3:201]. ³Brother-in-law Robert SKINNER² was named as a residual legatee of the will of Thomas LETCHWORTH, Calvert co, 1696 [proved 1713; MCW 3:243]. Stein [op.cit., p 289] interprets this to mean that Robert SKINNERıs wife Ann was a daughter of Thomas LETCHWORTH (emigrant, 1652). While Robert SKINNER (2nd) could have been previously m. (in 1696) to a dau. of Thomas LETCHWORTH, his wife Ann is clearly a dau. of James and Mary MACKALL. Robert SKINNER was a member of the Maryland General Assembly in 1708-10 [MCW:82, 83, 107].
