Graduated from Hamilton College in 1849. Moved to Watertown, WI in
the 1850s. Calvin Bronson was an attorney; alderman and mayor of
Watertown (1859-60), superintendent of schools, U.S. Court
Commissioner; director, Nortwestern Life Insurance; Sunday School
superintendent, and one of the most prominent masons in his state.
