!.....E93.0628.19-22 SKU 10(4):76 Oceana Co Hist 1992 v2 p279: Frank Skinner son of Fred and Ellen Skinner, 9th generation Skinner in America. Born about 3 miles north of Hightower in Newfield Township. Married his childhood sweetheart and neighbor, Elsie Green. Farmed and worked most of his young adult life in lumber camps. After some of the children were born Frank and Elsie moved to a farm south of Shelby on Baker Road west of Babinec corners. Frank and family worked the farm and raised green beans, strawberries, raspberries, cucumbers and much more of which he took into town on a horse-drawn wagon to sell to the factories. Frank and Elsie had a large family, six boys and six girls. All but two are alive today and most of them living in this area. Elsie (Green) Skinner passed away January 9th, 1955. Frank Skinner passed away March of 1985.

Most of these were born in Hesperia, MI. If you are interested, I will be glad to share what I have.
