Luther SKINNER of Royalton 100 acres of land in Royalton being part of
Lot 18 in the large allotment the middle hundred for £10. Witnesses: Asa

1878 Mar 12: Nathan MORGAN of Tunbridge, Orange, VT, for £40 sold to
Luther SKINNER of Royalton being Lot 17 in the Town plot so called.

1817 Sep 22: Luther SKINNER of Royalton for $1,000 conveyed to
Jonathan KINNEY, Jr, of Royalton a tract of land lying in Royalton namely
100 acres being Lot 17 in the Town plot so called also 72 acres
belonging to Lot 25 town plot beginning on the south line of Lot.

1817 Sep 23: Jonathan KINNEY of Royalton for $1,000 paid by Luther
SKINNER of Royalton give etc. land in Royalton containing 100 acres
being Lot 17 in Town plot also 22 acres belonging to Lot 25 Town plot (if
the following agreement is not carried out the deed is to be
void).***Jonathon SKINNER covenants with said Luther that he will
maintain him and his wife during their natural lives that he will allow
them the privilege of occupying the south square room***the bedroom in
the southeast corner, previledge in the Kitcken, buttery celar and
chamber, keep for their use a driving horse further agrees to provide for
their daughter Lucy as long as she remains unable to provide for herself
or in an unmarried state - and Jonathan further agrees to allow Harriet
SKINNER, Mary SKINNER and Martha SKINNER daughters of the said Luther
all the previlidges of a fathers home requires. And if Theodolphus
SKINNER son of Luther shall choose to live with said Jonathan until he is
21 years old then Jonathan is to support him and give him $100 when he
comes of age. Witnesses: Theodolphus DEWEY, Theodolphus SKINNER.
